Historical Development

A Legacy of Growth and Excellence

The school’s journey has been marked by progress and community support. Notable milestones include the recent foundation laying ceremony for the Higher Secondary Building on March 8, 2023, attended by dignitaries such as Mr. Hitendra Nath Goswami, the honorable MLA of Jorhat constituency, and Rt. Rev. Albert Hemrom, the Bishop of Dibrugarh Diocese and Dr. Subbalakshmi Rajkumari, Inspector of Schools, Jorhat. Encouraged by Mr. Goswami, the school continues to evolve to meet the needs of future generations.

Over the past 15 years, Don Bosco High School has made significant strides in infrastructure development and educational resources. The introduction of digital boards in classrooms, a well-equipped computer lab, and sports facilities like basketball and shuttle courts demonstrate our commitment to holistic education. Gratitude is extended to Mr. Hitendra Nath Goswami for his generous donation toward the construction of the Science Lab, inaugurated on June 5, 2023, by Mr. Goswami himself, alongside Bishop Hemrom.
